The safety of our customers and staff is always our number one priority and we always put a detailed plan together to ensure that all Health & Safety aspects of each event are properly managed. While respecting the law, we find that official advice around COVID 19 can be very contradictory, so we take what we believe to be a common sense attitude to COVID-19 guidance in order to protect you, ourselves and the public. This generally means that we will take a cautious view rather than a relaxed view of precautionary measures and ask everyone at our events to help make customers and staff feel safe, reassured, and cared for.

 We ask that you do not attend the event if you are displaying symptoms of coronavirus, if someone within your household is displaying symptoms, or if you have been asked to self-isolate. As government guidelines relating to outdoor events are regularly updated, we will give customers a final update on our COVID-19 procedures one week before the events take place. However, at the moment we have decided to maintain the following guidance at our events, to ensure our customers and staff continue to feel safe and protected;

  - Our staff will continue to wear masks and we encourage customers to do the same whilst moving in enclosed or busy areas. We understand that some people, including children, are exempt from wearing masks but please respect others who feel more cautious about mask wearing or may be more vulnerable to infection.

  - We ask that customer follow the latest advice from the government when attending our events, this includes social distancing.

  - There will be multiple hand sanitiser stations located at the event and the toilets will be regularly cleaned.

  - We will implement socially distanced seating for deckchair ticket holders and we ask that other customers who are bringing their own seating to remain within their own designated seating space, and maintain social distancing from other groups.

If we have to cancel the events due to COVID-19, we will notify attendees as soon as possible and refund customers their ticket money at face value. Face value is the cost of the ticket, excluding the booking fee. The booking fee is not charged by us, but is a handling fee charged by our ticketing booking provider.

We will continually update our COVID-19 safety plan in line with the latest advice from the government, and we will send all attendees a final update before the events. If you have any queries regarding the health and safety of this event, please email us at hello@thevillagescreen.com
